We offer a 30-day return window for most items. Your satisfaction is our priority!
At Little Willow Book House, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, we are here to help. Please read our return and refund policy carefully.
1. Return Eligibility
Items Eligible for Return
To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:
- Return request must be initiated within 30 days of receiving your order
- Items must be in the same condition as received (unread for new books, original condition for used books)
- Books must not be marked, written in, or damaged
- Items must be in original packaging when applicable
- You must provide proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Books showing signs of use, damage, or wear beyond what was present at delivery
- Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Clearance"
- Digital products or downloadable items
- Gift cards
- Books with broken spines, water damage, torn pages, or writing/highlighting
2. How to Initiate a Return
Follow these simple steps to return your item:
- Contact Us: Email us at beulape91782@gmail.com or call +1 458-209-9052 within 30 days of receiving your order
- Provide Details: Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and reason for return
- Receive Authorization: We will send you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions
- Pack Your Item: Securely pack the item(s) in original packaging if possible
- Ship the Return: Send the item to the address provided with your RMA number clearly marked on the package
Important: Please do not ship your return without first contacting us and receiving an RMA number. Returns sent without authorization may not be accepted or may experience processing delays.
3. Return Shipping
Who Pays for Return Shipping?
- Defective or Damaged Items: We will provide a prepaid shipping label at no cost to you
- Wrong Item Sent: We will provide a prepaid shipping label at no cost to you
- Change of Mind/Buyer's Remorse: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for returns. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipment.
4. Refund Processing
Refund Timeline
Once we receive your returned item, we will:
- Inspect the item within 3-5 business days
- Send you an email confirmation of receipt and inspection results
- Process approved refunds within 5-7 business days
- Issue refund to your original payment method
Please Note: Depending on your bank or credit card company, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account after we process it.
Refund Amount
Your refund will include:
- Full purchase price of the returned item(s)
- Original shipping costs (only if item was defective, damaged, or incorrect)
Refunds do not include:
- Return shipping costs (unless we made an error)
- Original shipping costs for "change of mind" returns
5. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges at this time. If you need a different item, please:
- Return the original item following our return process
- Place a new order for the item you want
This ensures you receive your new item as quickly as possible without waiting for the return to be processed.
6. Damaged or Defective Items
Inspect Your Order Upon Arrival!
Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, contact us within 7 days of delivery.
How to Report Damage or Defects

- Include photos of the damaged item and packaging
- Provide your order number
- Describe the issue in detail
We will arrange for a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.
7. Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund after the expected timeframe:
- Check your bank account or credit card statement again
- Contact your credit card company (refunds can take time to officially post)
- Contact your bank (processing times vary)

8. Partial Refunds
In certain situations, only partial refunds may be granted:
- Books with obvious signs of use or damage not present at delivery
- Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
- Items not in original condition or missing parts not due to our error
- Items returned without prior authorization
We will notify you of the approval or rejection of partial refunds via email.
9. Cancellations
Before Shipment
You may cancel your order for a full refund if:
- The order has not yet been shipped
- You contact us within 24 hours of placing the order
After Shipment
Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. You must follow our standard return process upon receiving the item.
10. Used Books Special Considerations
As we sell both new and used books, please note:
- Used books are sold "as described" in their listing
- Normal wear for used books (minor shelf wear, slight page yellowing) is expected and not grounds for return
- Significant damage not disclosed in the listing qualifies for return
- We accurately describe the condition of all used books
